After seeing Marceline’s character design, Olivia was impressed and has since dressed up in rocker’s close whenever she goes in to record lines for Marceline. Now this doesn’t mean that she was guaranteed a part, in fact she originally tried out for Princess Bubblegum, but after hearing her do the bit, Ward asked that she read some lines from Marceline instead. Olivia’s father Martin Olson was an acquaintance of Ward, and Olivia was encouraged to audition for Adventure Time after Ward told her father that he wanted “her as a voice” on his show. She is both the voice actress and song actress (sometimes they are two different voices in cartoon shows) for adult Marceline The Vampire Queen in Adventure Time, and to me she IS Marceline. Olivia Olson is 21 years old and was adopted at birth. Okay everyone, gather around for one of my infamous ‘real talk’ moments.
