They said I should post in the forums as they cannot directly help solve my issue and it would need to come from the steam updates. I replied that this still does not fix my issue of achievements showing up in the activity section. Good to know but if I had known that I would not have installed the game in the first place.
I reached out to steam support and they replied there are alot of 'fake games' out there and they are trying to weed those out. They were tallied to my achievement total but not showing up for me or in any of my friends' activity feed that I had unlocked them. Fast forward to a few days later when I noticed under 'activity feed' that achievements I had legitimately unlocked in games I had purchased were not showing up. I thought oh well, probably because it was a free to play game and I didn't do much to get them (literally once you launched the game they all began unlocking). I noticed on my profile the 5,000 achievements the game had unlocked were not tallied under my achievement showcase. Afterward, I uninstalled the game (not related to this topic but the game sucked) but hey I got a bunch of achievements.or so I thought. As soon as I launched the game achievements began unlocking. I played this free to play game called Dinosaur Hunt Puzzle.
